Will Keen's BiographyI am Will Keen, a senior at Saint Andrew's School. I have always loved art, and inheriting my mother's artistic ability allowed my creativity to flourish from a young age. Most of my art stems from my surroundings and what I love - nature. Having grown up in southeast Florida with a father who loves to fish, I was basically born and raised on the water. My love for the outdoors flows directly into my artwork, as I take my inspiration directly from experience. Wherever I go, I try to look for new ideas and methods to incorporate in my art - as I did in Cuba, where I had the opportunity to meet artists from Varadero and Havana and discuss their artistic methodology. I look to figures and artistic groups both new and old, including the Highwaymen, the Hudson River School, Guy Harvey, and K. C. Scott as inspiration for my work. As I journey through life, I hope to always bring art with me and to share it with others! Awards Received: Outstanding Achievement in Honors Drawing, Outstanding Achievement in Digital Design, & Honorable Mention from the Palm Beach County Scholastic Art Awards
